Suburbs in Manhattan

Pros

Apartment matches the rest of Yorkville; family-oriented, and clean as it can be for a pre-war. Management is most responsive over texts. No issues with neighbors.

Cons

Small, sometimes nonsensical layouts. Pretty thin walls between floors. Our lease says the apartment is no pets, but I think there are at least 5 dogs in the building. Doesn’t bother me, just confused on their actual policy.

Nice but could upgrade a few things

Pros

Well located very close to q line and green line, and good groceries close by

Cons

Gigantic hvac unit in the back of the building is noisy 24/7. The unit is not owned by the building per se but if your apt is in the back of the building, you’ll def hear it constantly. No laundry and there is a basement where they could set it up! Some appliances are old and could be renewed for the rent price asked

Advice to the owners

Upgrade some appliances in the apts and put a laundry in basement.
