responsive corporate landlord

Pros:
there is a building portal so you can put in work orders, and maintenance is pretty responsive.
Cons:
there isn’t a human landlord. it’s corporate. no relationship.
Advice to owner:
be more responsive.

Nice building, noisey tenants

Pros:
Building has nice amenities - recently remodeled interior with central heat/AC for each unit, new appliances, laundry in basement, tall ceilings, and great water pressure. The management company is always quick to respond as well.
Cons:
Tenants in this building are often students attending Pratt - the floors and walls are really thin so it feels like a frat house most days. They throw parties often and leave their trash on the roof. I’ve had occasional issues with roaches, though they do come and spray once a month. Apartments do not have dishwashers, definitely a downside.
