Review summary
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.
Recent reviews of buildings managed by Moti Haber reveal significant challenges that prospective renters should consider. While the locations are generally praised for accessibility and community, issues with cleanliness, pest control, and owner responsiveness are recurring themes. Multiple tenants reported severe pest problems and inadequate management responses, particularly when reaching out to the super. Noise levels and issues stemming from ongoing construction have also been noted. Overall, renters advise caution and suggest that management needs considerable improvement to create a more livable environment, despite some positive aspects like heating and neighbor relationships.

Good location, not the best building to live in
Pros
Good location, super close to the Q train and nearby buses. Maintenance of building is decent and most units have an in unit washer/dryer combo.
Cons
Really big insect problem, cockroaches and we saw a mouse one time too. To be expected living in NYC but pretty unfortunate. Our unit was also not cleaned properly when we first moved in. If you need assistance ever, reach out to the landlord, not the super because the super is very unresponsive. Also there's a really creepy basement.

Be careful, know what you’re getting into
Pros
Good location, area
Cons
Construction going on all the time. Seems shoddy. Heat and cold are miswired and the bathroom isn’t properly vented. Seems to be a hole in the shower through which some flies are coming in.
