Avoid at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the 2/5 Subway stop.
Cons:
Terrible unresponsive building management, mice, cockroaches, cheap repairs, rundown building, loud tenants, dirty, unsafe neighborhood, landlord is one of the top slumlords in NYC. No hot water for an entire winter.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of your building and tenants.

Loved my unit, hated the building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved my apartment; a spacious studio with ample closet space, including a walk-in. Amazing lighting. Beautiful floors. Great neighbors. Super close to the 2/5 and several bus lines. Rent stabilized.
Cons:
The building is always filthy; garbage rooms are super disgusting and have attracted a legion of roaches; the building is infested. Neighbors mentioned having mice, although we never saw one. On three separate occasions we found a bed bug in our apartment as well although management did handle it, you had to catch it as proof. Super is pretty much non-responsive.
Advice to owner:
Get a Porter who is actually going to keep the building clean, especially the garbage rooms.
