Great location for a rental
Building is very poorly maintained, superintendent is a great guy but underpaid and not given any autonomy, owner doesn't follow the law and feels appropriate to steal security deposits from tenants. I have lived in New York for 12 years and never had such a negative experience in a rental before, even as rentals 1/3 of the price. Stay away!
