Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants renting buildings managed by Steven Kurlander often commend the convenient locations, spacious apartments, quiet surroundings, and well-maintained common areas. The garbage management is generally well-organized, and many appreciate the presence of helpful superintendents and responsive staff members. However, recurring issues are noted with heating systems and laundry facilities, including outdated coin-only machines and boiler malfunctions leading to prolonged heating outages. Pest control, particularly roach problems, is a concern that management has not fully addressed. Communication and repair responsiveness vary, with some tenants citing delays or inadequate fixes. Overall, renters recommend improvements in heating, maintenance speed, and laundry upgrades for a better living experience.
