Not bad for the price.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent. Decent space. Good layout for couples, theres a 2nd "bedroom" in the railroad that can be used as an office if you dont mind your partner walking through. Great part of the neighborhood. Responsive maintenance
Cons:
Backyard is not maintained and not accessible from upstairs apartments. Doors are not insulated from noise well, can clearly hear conversations from people in the hall way and im sure they can hear me. Lack of outlets, common for old buildings. No vents in kitchen. No sink in bathroom, only in kitchen. FIRE ESCAPE IS FALLING APART, missing stairs, dangerous.
Advice to owner:
Better doors. Fix the fire escape.

Prime Spot in Popular Area of Bushwick
Former Tenant
Pros:
Maintenance is very fast to respond and fix problems. The super is a very kind person. No pests. Neighbors in the building keep to themselves and aren't noisy. Close to the L, close to three markets, close to at least four bodegas, lots of neighborhood bars and restaurants. Lots of charm from having been built in the 1930s.
Cons:
Nothing. The building is great. Saint Nicholas can be noisy but it's not unbearable
Advice to owner:
Don't raise my rent and I'll stay forever! haha!
