Management company doesnt care
Former Tenant
Pros:
Superintendent is great and rent could be considered reasonable
Cons:
Minimum maintenance. Very loud banging pipes when heat is on in the winter and management doesn’t want to spend money for replacement. I did not have proper heating in apartment. Gas leak was found by city inspection and cooking gas was shut off for over 3 months with no compensation. Electric stoves ultimately installed as replacement. When moving out, waited 1.5 months for refund of deposit - NYC law stipulated 14 days. Management confirmed in writing they follow their own process that is non-compliant
