Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for buildings managed by Greystar indicate that they are generally well-maintained, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and responsive management. Tenants appreciate the modern amenities, attentive staff, and the convenience of locations. However, there are notable concerns regarding rising rent prices, noise levels from nearby attractions, and some complaints about slow management responses, particularly during urgent situations. Several reviewers emphasized the need for better communication and transparency from management regarding fee structures and rent increases. Overall, Greystar properties offer a solid living experience but may require caution regarding potential cost increases.

Well run building

Pros

Management is super responsive to requests, and the holding is always clean and runs smoothly. Packages are secure. The location is super convenient, with access to tons of trains at Atlantic Terminal, as well as the C and G nearby.

Cons

The apartment is not on a great block. It gets really busy because it’s next to Barclays Center. Also the noise from the street and air conditioners make the apartment loud.

Advice to the owners

Please lower or halt rent increases. I’ve lived in the building nearly 5 years and my rent has gone up $600. That isn’t horrible, but it’s not like the apartment or building has gotten any nicer to justify the expense.

Cons

Constant construction noise, very pricey, not near mass transit, package management is a mess, nickel and dimed for heat hot water gym , windows leak like crazy, community laundry under repair for months as has elevator
