Don’t waste your money
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing worth noting
Cons:
This building is a disaster from top to bottom. It sits on the A Train line, shaking violently every 20 minutes. Sandwiched between two skyscrapers, the building creates a wind tunnel that howls through the vents. The owner’s negligence is staggering: after years of leaks, a top-floor ceiling collapsed, and he responded with a slapdash fix that didn’t stop the problem. Meanwhile, the outdated boiler sprays scalding water into apartments, and nothing is done.
The office staff adds insult to injury by gaslighting tenants, claiming their widespread concerns are isolated issues. To top it off, the place is infested with roaches. The landlord also takes $600 illegally with no justification from every security deposit (the tenants emailed and realized he did). This building isn’t fit for human habitation, and the owner deserves jail, not rent checks.
Advice to owner:
Enjoy hell
