Review Summary for Abraham Waldman
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight Abraham Waldman's buildings as a mixed bag. Some tenants praise the spacious units, prompt maintenance, and responsive management. However, concerns arise regarding heating inefficiency, noise levels, and garbage management issues in certain buildings. While some residents appreciate the kind neighbors and amenities, others express dissatisfaction with the lack of owner responsiveness and building maintenance challenges. Bedstuy / Clinton Hill Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Relatively spacious, central ac/heat, big windows, virtual doorman, high ceilings
Cons:
Laundry room frequently didn’t work, bedrooms that were street facing tended to be louder, wish there was a bit more light in the common spaces

1090 Bedford Ave
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice building. Located near lots of great restaurants. The apartment is spacious. The neighbors are kind.
Cons:
There is no owner responsiveness. They do not even have a contact number. The management company does not answer the phone. The street always has trash all over it and the restaurants nearby play very loud music which can be heard in the basement of the building.there’s mold in the basement and no heat. Don’t live at this apartment.

Nice quiet apartment. Freezing during the winter.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is prompt in responding to maintenance requests. The building is in good shape, so I haven’t really need anything repaired during the year I’ve been here.
Cons:
HEAT efficiency is terrible. My unit is a duplex and my bedroom is on the lower floor (in the basement). Basements are naturally cooler so I was shocked when I realized there was no heating unit in lower level of the apartment. My bedroom was so cold during the winter, I resolved to sleeping upstairs on my sofa. On top of that, my electric bill during the winter months was ~$300/month on average.
Advice to owner:
Put a heating unit in the lower level of the apartment.
