Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by Joseph Willner indicate mixed experiences. While some appreciate the landlord's friendliness and decent fixtures, many highlight persistent issues such as noise disturbances, poor cleanliness, slow maintenance response, and pest problems. Garbage management ranges from adequate to poor, and heating and water pressure quality vary. Tenants sometimes struggle to contact management or superintendents promptly. Although some residents approve of the owner and recommend the buildings, others criticize the lack of timely repairs and unclear communication. Overall, expect a landlord with approachable staff but variable responsiveness and ongoing infrastructure and cleanliness challenges.

Would have stuck around if something cheaper didnt spring up

Pros

Nothing was so egregious that I had to leave or call 311, and the fixtures in my apartment are nice

Cons

Very loud outside the building and in the hall. Tough to figure out who the landlord is and to get a hold of them.
