Horrible Landlord. Do Not Rent!!!

Location in Park Slope was great and the room was large.
Cons
The landlord is living in the property and she never leaves. You will have no privacy in the apartment. She is very nosy and will spy on you. She also wanted a key to my room and said I could not change the locks. Please safeguard your property! She says she has a lot of great ratings about the property but she picks and chooses who to mistreat and abuse very carefully. She has no problem evicting well paying renters for no reason, even if during the holidays and she has done this before for no reason. She also not fond of tenants having guests or staying over and is very controlling. There is little to no heat in the building and in the room. I do not advise renting this place. She also has a history of not refunding security deposits when you have every reason to get it back.
Advice to the owners
Give people back their security deposits. Don’t kick out rent paying tenants. Don’t evict people during the holidays. Stop being a miser. Turn up the heat in the winter when tenants complain about the lack of heat in the apartment and their rooms.
