Very Pleased Overall - 3 year tenant
Pros
Location cannot be beaten for the price. I pay 2250 for a rent stabilized one bedroom unit. It is right in front of Prospect Park and Parade Grounds. The area is maintained very clean. This cannot be overstated, since the surrounding area in Flatbush can be somewhat dirty. The building is very clean and the neighbors are great. Very close to the Q/B and relatively close to the F/G. I would not leave if I didn't have to.
Cons
Parkside Ave is a busy street that feeds directly into the BQE. As a result, the street is generally always busy with cars, lots of traffic, and lots of people revving their engines/loud car music/ambulances. I would say it was more prevalent than other neighborhoods I've lived in (Bay Ridge and East Harlem). My unit is alley facing so I didn't deal too much with the noise, but if you have a park facing unit, I imagine the noise could get annoying.
Advice to the owners
Never really had an issue with the super or owners. They are generally very responsive, except for one repair that I've been asking to be fixed, but it's more aesthetic than habitability related. Therefore, not much to complain about.

Persistent bed bugs in my unit and others, management refusing to treat entire building and only treating one apartment, does not report bedbug incidents to hpd as required by law
