Mismanaged,, lack of concern, nice outdoor space

Pros

Location, the actually apartment, the light, the square footage

Cons

This building management company is a nightmare, first of all they actually don’t have anyone mangmsning the building. It’s simply the construction companies responsibility to keep us content. If there is ever a problem in your unit or the building itself the “Constantine” will not answer your calls, read texts and not respond for days. So you take it to the higher level my speaking with foster. I’ve never met foster but by the sound of his voice he sounds like an older gentleman who is pretty incompetent. I would call everyday for a week to remind them my Air Con was not working during the summer. I woukd call him and leave messages everyday for one week and then he wouke accidentally call me Al back asking if I was his girlfriend and only then would I have the opportunity to explain to him that for example my oven has not worked in over one month. The walls and door to the hallway are very thin, I can hear my neighbors fighting, snoring and even peeing in the middle of the night from my bed. I never felt like I could relax because I felt I need to whisper or keep the music very low. When they send someone to come fix or replace something .., it’s never a good experience. In the end I would hire my own people to put up light fixtures or light plumbing on the unit because whenever the bike king staff would come, I would need to ask them to come back and it just wasn’t worth the head ache. For example- they come to replace my aircon unit for the 2nd in less than a year. They put in a smaller sized unit and then needed to paint all around it to match the wall. They then did some touch up painting around all the fight fixtures I had replaced. Looks great and then the paint drys, and it a differnt shade of white, so now I have spots all of my ceilings and walls for the 2 years I lived there. Found a plant to put infront to hide but the ceiling was unable to hide.

Advice to the owners

Hire a proper management company, when paying kore than 3,600 for a 1980’s style finished apartment in midtown. One would except to atleast get atleast a complaint about the heat not working during the winter respondes to in a timely manner, 2 days…? Invest in your building, it has a great frame but everything is dated, you want to charge luxury prices? Treat your tenants like they are worthy not living in a rent stabilized building.

Go absolutely ANYWHERE ELSE PLEASE

Pros

I could not think of one single thing.

Cons

Management is an absolute disaster Crime is high in the area Tenants and neighbors are sketchy at best If you want to feel unsafe both in and out of your apartment look no further than this building.

Advice to the owners

I truly don’t think there is enough advice that would be able to fix this management company.
