Fine for a bit
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are spacious for the rent. The heat generally goes on early in the year, so you get rather toasty In the winter. Although it’s either on or off - so it can get a bit hotttt. The area is also nice!
Cons:
The cameras don’t work, when mentioned they pretend the front one is - but it actually doesn’t. People steal packages all the time, even all the way up on the third floor, which is crazy since it’s a walk up. There are a lot of Fordham kids, so it can get LOUD on the weekends. The water is scorching hot, so when doing dishes or showering you need to have it perfectly set, or you will burn yourself. The front door often doesn’t lock, so we get unwanted guests lingering in the hallway or between the doors occasionally. Management is generally unresponsive, they usually ask for details about an issue and when sent, no response. When you follow up, no response.
Advice to owner:
Fix the cameras and fix the mail system. Be responsive with tangible solutions to our issues.
