Former tenant·just now

horrible experience, Don’t live here

Pros

in unit laundry and dishwasher.

Cons

nearly everything. the building is not well kept. It’s often dirty and people leave things everywhere. The front door is always broken. There was a time when packages were frequently stolen. There are people with loud and aggressive dogs. The management is incredibly unresponsive and simply do not care. They are really unprofessional. They do not maintain and improve the building and they are not responsive to tenant issues. The apartments have many issues. First, the heating is quite bad. There were times were I couldn’t sleep due to the cold. The kitchens are poorly designed but the dishwasher saves it. There was a really bad rodent problem for a while where huge rats were getting inside my apartment. The bathrooms have plumbing issues and the showers are bad with the shower heads, handles, and doors. The sink is frequently clogged. They do not make maintenance requests convenient for you. The windows are poor and provide poor insulation. And again superintendent and property managers are not responsive, their numbers don’t work. Totally not worth the money and the headache. Not to mention it’s a pre war walk up.

Advice to the owners

Take your job seriously. Tenants pay their hard earned money to live in your places so make them habitable and be responsive. I’m sure it costs more to lose tenants than to retain them through a good living experience.

It was a horrible experience

Pros

Close to midtown

Cons

You could hear rats from the wall. Once rates are gone, roach will appear in your place. It was horrible experience in my life.
