Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by Peter Bazelli presents a mixed picture. Residents appreciate prime locations, spacious units, and generally helpful doormen and management. Some reviews highlight good responsiveness from the owner and well-maintained common areas with amenities like gyms and laundry rooms. However, consistent pest issues and thin walls causing noise disturbances detract from the living experience. Maintenance responsiveness varies, with occasional plumbing problems and gaps in staff coverage noted. While some tenants recommend the buildings for their positive aspects, others express dissatisfaction primarily related to pest control and noise insulation. Overall, management shows attentiveness but faces challenges in addressing building upkeep and pest management effectively.

Quiet spacious condo building

Pros

Beautiful building with spacious apartments and kind staff.

Cons

Pest issues in numerous units throughout the building.

Not Bad for a mid century building

Pros

Biggest pro is the location. The building faces Central Park and is right across the street from the B & C train entrance. Gym, laundry room, storage area, elevator and bike room available. Doormen are very nice and helpful.

Cons

Walls and ceiling are very thin. No noise insulation. Floors creak and you can hear everything. Especially the person who lives upstairs to you. Sink leaks and needs to be replaced. Shower head in most of the apartments point in the wrong direction of the tub. Sometimes there is no doorman on staff because they have issues with replacing the ones who left.
