Convenient but flawed

Pros

Great location for convenience, right in the heart of SoHo. Apartment layouts are smart for making the most of the small sizes.

Cons

In unit washer/dryer is a joke. Garbage room is disgusting and poorly maintained. Heat is inconsistent. Was off for most of the start of heating season despite being well below thresholds. Now on constantly which is bad for air quality. Building management threatened by ConEd in January for not paying their bills. Finishes are cheaply done overall, sloppy tile work in the bathroom, flimsy apartment doors that leak all sound. Wiring for spectrum internet is old and super unreliable

Great location but poor management

Pros

Great location, nice finishes in renovated apartments

Cons

Small apartments, dark, unresponsive management company, skyrocketing rent, no gas for 9 months (no stove or oven), no heat for 3 weeks in the dead of winter, inconsistent pricing among tenants

Advice to the owners

Fire the management company and hire someone competent
