I don’t know what to say or start !
Former Tenant
Pros:
The woman that helps with the garbage is such a sweet besides the timing that she chooses.
Cons:
Everything .. I don’t understand why they even rent a few apartments out. Even the basement apartment it’s no point of renting it if you’re not gonna care for it don’t have people living in there and they’re telling you to fix stuff and you don’t wanna fix anything.
Advice to owner:
Just simply fix it !

Classic Corporate Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has a new renovation style inside the apartments, and the rooms are spacious but the pros stop there
Cons:
There are mice and roaches in the building of which the property owner has no intention of addressing, there is constantly garbage in the hallway of which the owner also has no intention of addressing, the renovations are done á la landlord and clearly were not done with care nor precision which has led to many problems in the apartment. The bathroom tiles are not caulked properly causing potential mold and pests to abound, the heater sprays out water vapor, also causing mold, the kitchen backsplash is not even connected to the kitchen counter, which allows roaches to come up onto the counter extremely easily. The cabinets are not even in the realm of being measured or placed correctly causing some to be unable to open or unable to close properly, similarly the drawers are also off set causing issues with closing and opening. A dishwasher was included in the initial lease offering, however it has never been set up despite requests from the tenants. A stair was left loose and broken for over a month and only recently was repaired. Not only any of this, but in looking at who really owns the building, one is led on a big fruitless chase finding shell company after shell company. This property was clearly purchased as an investment property in which to extract rent off of the tenants and sell later for profit, completely stomping over and abusing its tenants in the process.
Advice to owner:
Sell your property to someone who actually cares, or make sure the contractors doing your renovations actually do quality work, you wasted money renovating your units.
