Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

George Rigas manages buildings that generally maintain good cleanliness and responsiveness, with tenants appreciating features like in-unit washers/dryers and security. However, several renters highlight ongoing issues such as poor sound insulation, inadequate ventilation, occasional pest problems, and difficulty reaching management. Some buildings face maintenance challenges, including plumbing leaks and elevator odors. Garbage management is usually adequate but can be strained in larger buildings. Customers often note that management is friendly but sometimes understaffed, impacting customer service quality and timely communication. Overall, tenants find the buildings livable but suggest improvements in construction quality, soundproofing, and more accessible management.

New building but cheap

Pros

Each unit comes equipped with your own washer and dryer, I have a balcony.

Cons

However the one bedroom I think was studio and they made it into a one bedroom. I can stand in one room and be in all rooms at the same time. And there is no window in the restroom so when your neighbor shits or smoke it smells up the entire apartment. Having a newborn, being a non smoker and smelling cigarettes everyday is appalling. Also how is it a new building and everytime it rains the building rains as well!!! From day one!

Advice to the owners

Please build the next building with sturdy material instead of cheap ones and cheap labor.

Very flexible and kind management

Pros

The super John does a great job of managing the entire building--extremely responsive. It was a great building to live at and the neighbors were nice too. Despite being right next to a fire station there's no noise.

Cons

There could have been more done to update the apartment. The appliances and touches felt a bit outdated.

Advice to the owners

Update appliances, improve the building appearance, give John a raise
