Management is Horrendous
Pros
The apartments are a nice size. The neighborhood has some nice coffee shops and good eats.
Cons
Management here sucks. It's impossible to get anything fixed. They are unkind and uncaring (not unique for NYC, but still... 😒). They charge us for building "upgrades" that suspiciously never create positive change. Laundry room is disgusting. There are a few neighbors who have disruptive gatherings outside, and have contributed to violence in the neighborhood (shootings outside our front door).
Advice to the owners
Get a new management company.

Ok building, bad management
Pros
Good neighbors, good area, bright apartments. Building itself isn’t too bad and building is quiet.
Cons
Terrible management, unresponsive, patched up repairs
