Worst building and landlord ever

Pros

There is nothing positive about this building.

Cons

The super is incompetent and management is non responsive. The first 5 months of living here I did not have cooking gas. They do not turn on the heat in a timely manner. The stairwell is filthy at all times of the day. You can hear rodents in the walls. The fire alarm does not work, there was a fire in someone’s apartment and we were not alerted until the fire department showed up. The market value units are severely overpriced for the quality of life provided.

Advice to the owners

Sell the building to a proper and decent landlord.

Maintenance and ownership do not respond

Pros

Location is great! You’re near everything that you would ever need.

Cons

Random people are always on the front steps of the building, they break the lock on the front secured door and then have parties on the first floor in the hallway. Management does not respond to maintenance requests. The roof is caving in requiring it to leak. We’ve submitted multiple requests and nothing has been done. The roof may fall in anyday now. There is also mold that has not been fixed for months. After multiple requests.

Advice to the owners

Respond to your residents and fix maintenance issues. There is no reason why we should have to get the housing Authority involved.
