Management committing Fraud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Has Nice windows
Cons:
Frontgate Management is actively defrauding renters who legally try and exit lease by intentionally not filling the apartment. Taking their deposits
Advice to owner:
Find new management, prepare for legal battle

Solid nyc building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord responsive, good super, quiet block, great location.
Cons:
Hallways a bit unfinished/run down. Shared backyard in poor condition from apathetic/irresponsible residents who just use it for smoking, dog poop and bike storage but I don’t care enough to change it so should not complain.
Advice to owner:
None - it’s a solid building.

Terrible management company; subpar maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighborhood, great neighbors
Cons:
Management can’t honor commitments for fixes or their word. Said would remove agreed upon fees from lease. When following up / held accountable, pushed blame to us and has stooped to not returning and screening our calls.
Advice to owner:
Get some capable people managing your property who can organize issues and follow up on them in a timely fashion. Worst management company experience I’ve worked with in 15 years of living in NYC.
