Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by John Kucharczyk reveal mixed management experiences. Positive feedback includes some buildings with responsive supers and management, clean and quiet apartments, and well-maintained common areas. Good locations and affordability are also noted. However, significant concerns arise regarding pest control, with recurring roach and occasional rodent problems, and poor cleanliness in certain buildings. Responsiveness from management and supers is inconsistent, with delays in maintenance and package theft frequently mentioned. Noise and neighborhood safety issues appear in some locations. Rent increases without corresponding improvements add to tenant dissatisfaction. Prospective renters should expect variable management quality, with some buildings better maintained than others.

Not bad but not great

Pros

Spacious, barely hear neighbors

Cons

Roaches are definitely here

Former tenant·11 minutes ago

Irresponsible Super -Do not choose to live here

Pros

-Location: close to major subway lines going uptown or lower Manhattan.

Cons

-Super is irresponsible. Took months to repair our broken stove top. Unwilling to respond to emergencies of residents. -The property is old and dirty. -The restaurant downstairs (Shiro Kuro and Boka) plays extremely loud music and the property managers do not take any actions about it. -Hot water occasionally stop running.
