Nice, but don't expect anything from management
Pros
Nice place overall with updated appliances. Neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet and the people are kind. It's right across the street from a school, but I never had an issue with noise except on the last day of school when they had field day outside, but it was cute, not annoying or anything. The bedrooms get good light, and the floors are heated during the winter. The B46 stops a block away, and the views in the neighborhood are unbeatable.
Cons
You will literally never hear from this landlord. We've had mold seep through walls, the dry wall literally fall off of the walls, a hole in the ceiling from water damage, and a carbon monoxide leak from the dryer. The only thing the landlord ever fixed one of these things after months of begging for help. When we moved in the wall was covered in holes and missing dry wall that we had to patch up ourselves, and the unit was not cleaned in any way before we got there. Also pretty sure the top floor apartment is an illegal unit, but take that with a grain of salt cause I heard that through the grapevine. If you can live with doing everything yourself, then living here wouldn't be that bad. You should just go in expecting that you're on your own for most everything.
Advice to the owners
Expect to do all repairs on your own, because you will never hear back from building management.
