Pros
Neighborhood is nice. Only good thing I can think of
Cons
-absolute trash. Common areas are never cleaned, some people smoke in the building and leaves their butts on the floor. - trash management is non existant. They only come to take things out but the outside trash area is gross - building is INFESTED with roaches and mice, landlord won't have regular professional services. - plumbing issues, one neighbor leak on 2 floors below and took 3 months to get fixed. Fix held for a year, leak came back. - tenants are not respected. If you complain, they'll raise your rent above the normal to kick you out. - lead in walls and tap water.

Decent location, quiet neighborhood, apartment itself is fine.
Cons
Landlord is incredibly shady and combative. He will make your life difficult just to squeeze any extra $ out of you and does the bare minimum in maintenance. The rent price is (relatively) low for the space, but the year-long headache is just not worth it. Building is terribly maintained, smells like cigarette/dog, hallway is never cleaned. The building has a ton of dangerous water damage that keeps getting painted over.
