Just moved in but already looking forward to moving out, sadly ☹️
Pros
- Amazing garbage management! Bins are emptied frequently. Management’s cleaning and maintenance team keep the building clean. You always see someone tending to something or getting other apartments ready for move in. - Haven’t spotted any pests. - Closest stations: Broadway Junction, Rockaway Ave, Atlantic Ave
Cons
- Very loud neighbors who even have parties in the hallway at times. Noise until 2am quite often. A lot of loud, bass heavy music from other units, yelling (very concerning) etc. - Very thin walls. - Laundry room isn’t the cleanest. - Quite far from the trains. At least a 10-12min walk. - Not much in terms of cafes + bars in the area. You have to travel for those. - The building is on a very noisy and busy street, with large trucks and buses always making noise. - The building across the street (2178 Bergen St) has terrible garbage management and it often piles up on the side of it. It can be seen from our apartment windows causing a massive eyesore.
Advice to the owners
Explore “quiet hours” for tenants.

Pros
-Zéro pest issues -access to gym -decent size -great kitchen
Cons
- Brownsville is rough -building is above an event space -neighbors leave dog poop in the courtyard - far from train -neighbors constantly start fights and yell
