DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Pros

Cons significantly outweigh any pros

Cons

We were left with constant heat and hot water outages at random times throughout the entire NYC winter and it's still ongoing. There were nights where it was less than 10 degrees and we had no heat and hot water. There was even a course of 3 days with no heat or hot water. Our point of contact with Brighton Management Company was condescending, disrespectful, unresponsive at times, and we feel completely taken advantage of. There was VERY little rent concession offered for an apartment that was uninhabitable under the NYC housing laws for a whole winter. Do not recommend anyone living here.

Advice to the owners

Fix the heat and hot water issue and respect your tenants.

Good area, terrible management

Pros

The building is undergoing renovations and is in a great spot in Manhattan (safe area, walkable neighborhood, restaurants and bars nearby).

Cons

This building experienced a fire in summer 2022, and there have been a litany of issues since. Management has poor responsiveness and a lack of empathy to these issues, and has avoided taking responsibility or accountability for their mistakes.
