Bed bugs in 2025 - I kept asking management to go out and hire a bed bug sniffing dog or anything more intensive to treat the issue. Instead, I got one guy coming every two weeks with a spray can who would spray my mattress and surrounding areas with harsh chemicals. Even after treatment once every two weeks, more bedbug bites over and over. They never bothered to try any treatment stronger than just a guy with a spray can, even though I asked.
Homeless all around, great building

building is amazing. I work from home and never leave the apt.
Cons
Issue is when I do leave the apt. Right next door is a cathedral that provides food to homeless every morning, so there are around ~20-50 homeless living in the avenue block depending on the weather. They don't bother you but streets become very gross with trash everywhere. One homeless punched one of the residents in our building and doorman told me that they tried calling the police to keep the homeless off the front entrance of the apartment but said they just come back when police leave so even the management has given up.
