location is close to many great places in jackson heights and the train

Insane german cockroach infestation that existed in the apartment even without a tenant or any food. Building was not clean and management was unresponsive, unhelpful, and did not seem to care about the issue
Persistent Roach Problems at 6545 Yellowstone

Convenient location and relatively spacious apartments. Building is close to transportation.
Cons
The biggest issue was a persistent roach infestation. Roaches were regularly seen in the apartment and common areas, including the laundry room and lobby area where packages are left. The building is older and, in my experience, does not appear to be maintained to a standard that adequately addresses pest issues. The laundry room is outdated and often felt unclean. I found roach eggs several times. Communication with management was also frustrating, as responses to concerns and maintenance requests were often slow or difficult to obtain. The roach issue was not a one apartment thing. It was all over. The pest control company the management brings sucks.. they come at random times and just expect you to be home.
