Good location, infrastructure problems

Newly renovated, spacious, quiet neighbors. Super was kind and willing to help.
Cons
Busy area, block parties blast music until 3am, building floods and leaks due to bad infrastructure issues. Basement room was not usable due to flooding. Same recurring issues were why I moved out. Had to threaten legal action to get security deposit back.

We moved into our apartment, which is a SHOEBOX that we pay a ridiculous amount of money for, and the place had a billion issues to begin with. We moved into an apartment that had no heat in the winter, broken window screens in the summer, which was never fixed even though we emailed management several times. Most recently though, we had mold in our AC since we’ve moved in. We contacted management and for a month they responded saying that someone was coming tomorrow, and then tomorrow would come and nobody would show up. Literally, a month of these emails, and our only contact for a “landlord” of this shithole is some girl named Liraz that seems about as happy to do her job as I am to live here. 12 month lease felt like 12 years, I’m so glad I’m moving out. Also, the washing machine doesn’t work. Don’t live here
