Not a bad place to live in

Pros

Overall, we like living here. The building staff are great and are always ready to fix things. Haven't really had to contact property management for anything. The super is responsive and always fixes things. Can't do anything about the noise level because our windows face the fire department.

Cons

We were forced to pay a MCI rent increase due to some repairs they made back before we were even tenants. The neighbors can suck depending what floor you live in. They leave garbage inside the garbage disposal room instead of throwing it in the chute. Also can smell cigarette/week smoke in the hallway occasionally.

Advice to the owners

Make sure the garbage and smoking rules are enforced.

Pros

Very close to subway and LIRR. Quiet building and neighbors are nice.

Cons

Live off a very busy street directly across from the fire department. Had multiple packages stolen and I have no heard from the management office once.
