Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for buildings managed by Jeffrey Heidings reveal a stark contrast in tenant experiences. Some buildings boast exceptional cleanliness, strong pest control, attentive doormen, and responsive management, contributing to a generally positive living environment. However, other properties struggle with poor maintenance, pest infestations, persistent noise, security concerns, and slow owner responsiveness. Several tenants report ongoing construction disruptions and unaddressed safety issues, negatively impacting their quality of life. The feedback suggests inconsistency in building upkeep and management attentiveness across properties, highlighting a need for more uniform standards and proactive maintenance to ensure tenant satisfaction and property value retention.

Great apartment !

Pros

Very clean, great doormen

Cons

Had to leave trash in hallway in the open, no problem with pests but was worrisome

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Building’s Great Bones, but they’ve got Osteoporosis

Pros

Tall ceilings, beautiful parquet floors, good closet space, decent sized rooms.

Cons

Brick facade under EXTREMELY LOUD repair, for almost a year. Unbearable to be inside during work hours. All units POORLY MAINTAINED. Doormen vary in quality, concern, and professionalism. Often times MIA. Kitchens, Bathrooms, building hallways and lobby seriously in need of maintenance.

Advice to the owners

You charge too much for living under theaw conditions. Your Absence is apparent. The Building has great bones, don’t let it go too far, or you’ll never be able to bring it back to snuff, commensurate to the rates you are asking. This is not the Hood for that kind of property management.
