Do NOT recommend renting or owning here

Pros

Units have good space, good light, good appliances. Super is excellent, courteous and professional.

Cons

This review pertains to renting the unit 3A for >1 year. Condo board disdainful toward renters; acoustical isolation between units extremely poor, including but not limited to hearing every footstep as a loud creaking, heavy walkers generate loud thuds, and some owners have large pets that they allow to produce uncontrolled noise including sprinting, tumbling, banging; condo board provides no recourse for serious noise issues despite repeated attempts and documented evidence of serious noise code violations; some residents throw their trash haphazardly and not in appropriate bins, or not in a bin at all; water pressure in showers very poor; front of the building prone to serious water leaks and extensive mold damage, which current owner had to repair before renters moved in, but was still a problem during rental period; heating and air very expensive as windows and doors are extremely drafty.

Advice to the owners

The property owners and condo officers and management have shown less than no interest in remedying repeated issues brought to their attention, particularly regarding noise. They make their disdain known clearly, and any advice would fall on deaf ears.
