Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Jeremy Markowitz reveal a mixed tenant experience marked by management challenges. While the buildings have appealing features like good locations, new interiors, and friendly neighbors, consistent complaints highlight poor management responsiveness, frequent maintenance issues, and pest infestations. Tenants report unreliable laundry facilities, flooding basements, and security concerns including package theft and unauthorized smokers. Although some find the buildings reasonably maintained and recommend living there, many express frustration with unprofessional superintendents and absent management who fail to address urgent problems promptly. Overall, prospective residents should expect management difficulties despite decent amenities.

Nice building Terrible management

Pros

No pests and new finishes

Cons

Terrible management! The central AC was broken and they didn’t fix it for a month during, all this during a heat advisory. The “gym” has never worked, it is moldy and flooded All the washers and dryers are broken, when functional only one washer or dryer works If you have a problem don’t expect management to help anytime soon, this includes if you lock yourself out of the apartment The elevator breaks around once a month Also, unless you’re Dominican this area might not be for you, it’s Mostly older people around, not many good restaurants either.
