Great place
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood and building are great, no complaints
Cons:
my specific landlord wasn't the most responsive, but that's apartment specific - maintenance was operated by the building so everything was great!
Advice to owner:
Depends on the unit really

Cigarette smell
Former Tenant
Pros:
Historic building, swimming pool
Cons:
I'm forced to break the lease after 2 months of living in the unit 3I, owned by Joel Rentlzer because of secondhand smoking. The landlord hasn't taken any actions within 30 days of being notified, and yet he's threatening he'll report me to credit agencies if I don't continue paying the rent. He's supposed to be a professor at Baruch college, but unfortunately he’s more of a mafia.
Advice to owner:
Don’t be a mafia
