Nice building, nice management, mean super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsiveness of management, fair rent, well-maintained building
Cons:
Super was mean and borderline abusive. He went through my trash (literally cut it open with a knife right in front of me), recorded me on security cameras, yelled at me for taking my trash out twice in 1 day, and blamed a completely rusted burst pipe on me.
Advice to owner:
Get a different super. I talked to several tenants that had similar complaints

Wonderful Management Team!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pretty much everything! Incredibly responsive and proactive super. Every time there was a slight problem, the super would schedule a time to fix it and show up. Whenever there were larger issues (the gas was out for a few months) tenants were very generously compensated and there was frequent communication from building management. Overall, really pleased with and grateful for the property management team.
Cons:
Like most NYC apts... there have been pests from time to time, which in NYC is pretty much inevitable. The building team did a great job at getting the pest control team out whenever there was an uptick in... roaches. Also, since the building is near a fire station, you can sometimes hear the firetruck's alarm. You get used to it though!
