Paper thin walls and noisy neighbors

Pros

Newly renovated, everything is new Nice backyard Easy to get to places on mass transit Herbert Von King park is a short walk away.

Cons

*Walls are extremely thin with no attempts at sound isolation. I can easily listen into my neighbors conversations if they are standing in the right spot. * Neighbors across the street have extremely loud outdoor parties all summer. These parties start around 7:00pm and don’t stop till 5 in the morning. We are talking live DJ with a full PA system. * Neighborhood can be a bit sketchy, lots of gangs around and street people seem to be on the rise during the pandemic. * Landlord can be difficult to work with

Advice to the owners

Next time you renovate a building try to think of your tenants and invest in some sound isolation in the walls and better sealing windows.
