Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Steve Brecker reveals a mixed management experience. Some residents praise the good locations, responsive supers, and decent garbage management, especially in a few well-maintained buildings. However, many express frustration with slow owner responsiveness and unresolved maintenance issues, including long delays in repairs and ongoing pest problems. Noise levels vary, with some buildings experiencing disruptive neighbors or construction concerns. Safety and security also appear inconsistent. Tenants suggest improving follow-through on repairs, better pest control, and enhanced building upkeep to foster a more comfortable living environment overall.

Reviews

Former tenant·10 minutes ago

222 E 75th St

Pros

The location was the best part of the apartment.

Cons

There was a crazy person that created problems with other people that lived there. The cops were called various times and the management company was informed numerous times but didn’t do anything. He harassed too many people from the building and nothing was done.

Advice to the owners

Make sure that you don’t let crazy psychopaths live there.
