Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight the buildings owned by MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR CANCER AND ALLIED DISEASES as a mix of positive and negative experiences. Tenants appreciate the cleanliness, garbage management, and attentive staff in most buildings. However, issues with heat control, noisy neighbors, and occasional pests are raised. Renters commend the owner's responsiveness but suggest improvements in building maintenance and noise isolation. Good till it was gone
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful views from the balcony if you face the right direction.
Cons:
Loud and very poorly insulated means insane AC bills in the summer and uncomfortable temperature swings.

Great student housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
The best part about this building is the super and his dedication to making sure everything is top-notch. I enjoyed the constant improvements throughout the time I was a tenant here.
Cons:
The walls/floors are really thin. Not a ton of natural light. Some plumbing issues. Lots of tenants, myself included, had problems with roaches, both dead and alive.

Nice building but poorly maintained depending on the unit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen are nice, building is always kept clean, very few bugs seen in 6+ years. Subsidized student building at well below market rate.
Cons:
Some units are better maintained than others. Building will be torn down soon so heat wasn't working in last few months I was there.

Great place but weird layout
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing doormen and maintenance crew
Depending on the unit, you can get great views!
Cons:
Rats in the basement
The layout of the apartment in itself was super weird for a 1 bed situation

Good but dated building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really nice front desk people, overall clean facilities
Cons:
Windows are not very good at soundproofing; often hear a lot of noise from ships in the river and the street even though it's a pretty quiet area
Over 3 years ago
Pleasant and regular
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pretty quite and comfortable. There are no many issues
Cons:
Not very clean. The laundry room is also not clean. Walls do not isolate noise from neighbors or the corridors
Over 3 years ago
Good building poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Water pressure was great
Cons:
Roaches and mice
Overall good place
Former Tenant
Pros:
AC in unit, laundry in building, maintenance was helpful with repairs, windows and lighting is great
Cons:
WAY TOO HOT! you can’t control the heat and it can be either freezing or burning in the winter. Would get roaches about once per month
Over 3 years ago
Noisy and infested
Former Tenant
Pros:
Big apartments, right next to the Q train
Cons:
The floors and walls were paper thin. I could hear my upstairs neighbors moving around, their dogs barking, and neighbors next door talking. They also had a roach infestation. You often saw them in hallways and the garbage chute room.
Advice to owner:
Clean it up and invest in sound proofing.
