Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Mark Moskowitz indicate a mix of experiences across properties. Many appreciate good locations, spacious units, and helpful, kind staff, particularly at buildings near parks and in vibrant neighborhoods. Garbage management and cleanliness vary, with some buildings showing strong organization while others struggle, especially with pest problems like cockroaches and occasional squirrels. Maintenance responsiveness is often noted as slow or inconsistent, especially during renovations. Noise levels are generally low, and neighbors are mostly friendly, though isolated complaints exist. Overall, management efforts show dedication, but there is room for improved pest control, timely repairs, and building updates to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Wanting to learn more about this building

Pros

Great to have dishwasher, laundry, bike room, spacious

Cons

Bunch of bugs in the kitchen

Former tenant·5 months ago

Great location but not worth the rent you pay

Pros

The location of the building is great. Less than a minute walk from the downtown 1 train.

Cons

Roaches have infested many apartments, the halls on some floors have them too. The garbage situation on each floor is unbelievable. Scaffolding on front of building and inner courtyard making some apartments very dark in rooms. Packages stolen from package room — neighbors have complained and asked for video from camera pointing to package room. Former super said there is no video to share. Some tenants don’t clean up after their pets accidents in the building. Elevators often out of service or someone telling you they just got stuck in the elevator and to take the other one instead. And the rent raises significantly each year.
