Good place to rent
Pros
Quiet neighbors, responsive management and live in super. Price for a large 1 bedroom with a dishwasher is very reasonable, and the building is situated right on the F&Q lines and can get to 4/5/6/N/R/W in < 5 mins walk. The heat works great, water pressure good.
Cons
Need more laundry machines, around $6 for a total load, and the dryers suck. Also have to use Fios which has been very unreliable

Convenient location next to the Q
Pros
It has an elevator, in a convenient location and the super is very responsive
Cons
Next to 3rd ave so it can get quite noisy Old building with old windows so it doesn't seal out the noise very well There are only 2 laundry machines and 2 dryers. They often go out of order
