Lived here 25 years
Former Tenant
Pros:
We have heat every year. That’s it.
Cons:
This building is unkept. Every apt is infested with rats and roaches. In the summertime, we get waterbugs (giant roaches). The neighborhood crackheads smoke and congregate everyday in the lobby (summer and winter). The bathrooms need updating in every apartment. They only have one worker, David, who does his job. The super, Ricardo, sits his behind down and does absolutely nothing but tell David what to do and barely pays him a livable wage. Do not waste your money here.
Advice to owner:
Hire more workers (don’t let Ricardo hire people, he tends to hire bums who disrespect tenants). Get security for the building so the neighborhood crackheads don’t congregate in the lobbies. Get control of the rat/roach infestation. Redo insulation in the building, it gets unbearably hot in the summer time. Clean the building more often, not just during inspection time. This is a start.

Worst landlord ever!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Accessible to stores , transport ,hospitals, great area
Cons:
Don’t keep up with repairs, inside and outside of building nasty, hallways not being swept/moped, super is vindictive, don’t do repairs
Advice to owner:
Instead of always quick to give out eviction notices, take the time to upkeep and do repairs and clean the buildings
