❗️1640 Ocean Pkwy, beware! There is almost never any hot water, and when there is, it is rusty. There is no heat, and everything is old and falling apart. Most of the residents have mental health issues and scream at all hours of the day and night. The hallways stink because the residents themselves never wash—it is completely impossible to ride the elevator with them. A major concern is the air quality; residents smoke both cigarettes and cannabis in the building. Because of the courtyard-well architectural design, the smoke and odors travel upward and into other apartments rather than dissipating.

EVERYTHING. everyone should sue them! It’ crazy! inhumane attitude! everything is old. crooked floor, terrible conditions, the superintendent doesn't do his job, but his apartment is gorgeous. periodically rusty water + water heating takes a very long time, about 5 minutes. the doors don't close because everything has a million layers of paint. They takes 2000$ for that garbage. Also laundry room is awful.
