Fine 1 bed

Pros

- Close to 231 St stop on the 1 with two stairways and 1 step-free way to walk there - Not much audible noise between apartments - Nice decorations in the courtyard/garden for holidays - No rats/mice/bedbugs that I knew of - Washer and dryer hookups

Cons

- Saw a couple big cockroaches, no infestations but it's an old building so roaches live in the walls. Some may have come up through the sink drain - Could hear neighbor's sink and shower, not too bothersome though - Noises can be heard from the courtyard, loud music from the street etc. - Extremely hot in the winter like most pre-war buildings, and loud clanging in pipes as it heats up - Heater seemed to cause a water damage issue to the apartment below, and apartment in the same building (226 Naples) had no heat and hot water for several weeks - Occasional centipedes and silverfish through the bathtub drain in the summer
