Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by John Petras present a mixed picture. Many praise the onsite super, Pedro, for being highly responsive, helpful, and a positive presence. The properties often boast good locations, laundry facilities, and amenities like elevators and rooftop decks. However, persistent issues include pest problems, occasional package theft, and noise concerns tied to surrounding nightlife or street activity. Management responsiveness receives varied ratings, with some tenants pointing to slow or inadequate responses, especially on maintenance and safety concerns like roof access. Overall, renters appreciate the super's dedication but suggest that management could improve in communication, security, and pest control to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Overall, amazing actually

Pros

- Pedro our super. He's wonderful, feels like family. He is so helpful and on top of everything. Also he is kind and has amazing energy-we are truly lucky to have him. - location wow - elevator and laundry - cute apartments. exposed brick, strong bones - we rarely hear any neighbors.

Cons

The only thing I would say is there are pests (just cockroaches but still) in the warmer months, it is somewhat manageable but also gross unfortunately. The funny thing is, the pros still outweigh the cons.
