Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Tom Kourkoumelis reveals a mixed experience. Many appreciate the convenient locations, spacious apartments, and well-managed garbage services. Some buildings are noted for their cleanliness and quiet neighbors, contributing to a comfortable living environment. However, common issues include inconsistent heating, ongoing pest problems, and slow or inadequate responsiveness from management, particularly regarding repairs and emergencies. Several residents report plumbing leaks, noise disturbances, and infrastructure concerns that affect living quality. Overall, while some tenants recommend certain buildings for their value and location, improvements in maintenance responsiveness and building upkeep are frequently advised.

Reviews

Former tenant·5 minutes ago

Rented for several years

Pros

Location is great, updated appliances, large space.

Cons

Management and repairs are not responsive, apartment gets way too hot with the radiators.

Former tenant·1 month ago

Noisy and dirty. Poor communication

Pros

The space has a nice layout and is spacious and the location is somewhat convenient

Cons

The shared space is consistently in poor condition, with thin walls that make the noise levels unbearable. Someone frequently uses an excessively loud sound system, and the bass vibrates through the floors and walls. There are also ongoing issues with the heat and water, including problems with temperature control, pressure, dirtiness, and leaks from other floors. Radiator leaks are a persistent issue, causing damage to the flooring, which is now rotting in some areas. This raises concerns about potential mold growth between the floors. Normal amount of pests throughout the building, mostly roaches.

Advice to the owners

Spend some of that money you’re making to renovate some of these areas. Stop patching things and fix them properly
