The manager is unresponsive, and clueless, they have one maintenance guy that has apparent health concerns and not certified, doesn’t speak English and does shoddy work and repairs.
Advice to the owners
They need to fix the very old and broken plumbing, electrical and structural issues. They need to stop bullying tenants and lying to the tenants. They need to follow regulations and laws and stop putting bandaids on the repairs. They need to let the tenants know who they can speak to when tenants ask for names so they can speak DIRECTLY to someone. These people are slumlords and bully people that are not informed of their rights. Last year there was hardly any heat or hot water provided and this year there was absolutely no heat during the coldest days in NYC and had to be reported in order for them to fix it. There are disabled children and elderly that live here and they had to endure no heat. These owners should have to face their tenants that pay rent on time. These owners hide.
