Reviews

Former tenant·3 minutes ago

Upstairs neighbor problem

Pros

We loved the historical aspects of the building, how spacious each room was, and the amount of light it got. The location was wonderful, right across the street from the giant fruit and vegetable market, as well as the train, the pharmacy, supermarket, cafes, and restaurants.

Cons

We ultimately left because the stomping upstairs was incredibly loud and frequent. The cockroaches were beginning to be a problem in the kitchen. No dogs allowed.

Has been a Nightmare for the past two years

Pros

Great maintenance team. Nice roof deck.

Cons

Landlord responsiveness is practically nil. Takes a full year to fix problem. No peace or privacy due to construction (and neighboring building) next door. Not enough laundry machines. No heat or air conditioning in the hallways. Loud construction. No manhattan views from patios. Weak/spotty water pressure. Hot water heater more like warm water heater.

Advice to the owners

Don’t harass your tenants. Don’t threaten your tenants. Get new management team. Accept online transaction for rent payments
